ROK-Chapter FiveChapter FiveIt was about midday before the cub finally parted for home. Kosta said his goodbyes and headed in the direction of one of his favorite viewing points, a high rocky ledge that looked over the surrounding areas. Kosta sat by himself as he stared out at the territory scanning for any possible signs of danger. Behind him landed the emerald feline, slightly out of breath from trying to stay absolutely silent as she followed him and the cub all day. Kosta's ears perked at the sound of her landing and without him even turning his head to see who it was he greeted her. "Greetings winged one, and how may I be of service to you?" he asked with little emotion to her.She was surprised that he knew it was her but the lack of emotion he showed bothered her. It was true that all she showed him was anger and possibly fear but for him to treat her as nothing killed her deep inside. She narrowed her eyes at him as she stood there. "Is there anything that you wished of me?" he asked again.
ROK-Chapter FourChapter FourPerched high in a tree, the emerald feline kept her eyes on Kosta's cave just waiting for him to emerge. She hoped to speak with him more and maybe find out more about him and what he was doing in a place like this. Her tail lightly brushed against the smooth white bark of the birch tree and her claws dug in with anticipation as she caught a glimmer of blue fur move towards the entrance. She shifted her weight and stretched out her wings as she prepared to glide down to him.Upon finding his cave empty when he awoke, Kosta slowly crawled off his bed of leaves and made his way over to the entrance of the cave. His eyes were heavy with sleep and his movements greatly reflected the tiredness that he felt. As he finally made his way over to the entrance his knees suddenly buckled under him in protest of the lack of energy. The massive feline fell to the ground. His eyes shut as all he wanted to do was go back to sleep, but somewhere in the back of his mind was a voice that fou
ROK-Chapter ThreeChapter ThreeKosta's eyes slowly faded back to normal as he stared in the direction the dark feline had departed. His chest heaved with every deep breath he took to try and calm himself. Slowly the aura faded and his fur settled itself back in place. The blue feline turned his head in the direction the female had been shoved to and cautiously approached her. Deep crimson blood matted down her fur in the areas the dark feline had attacked her. She moved very little and at one point Kosta even thought her to be dead. He lowered his head down to her and gently nudged the side of her neck. When she made no sudden movement, Kosta struggled to get her onto his back. After adjusting her weight several times to make sure she wouldn't fall from his back, Kosta carefully made his way back to his cave and deposited her gently in a mound of soft leaves and grasses. The emerald feline twitched slightly but remained asleep. Kosta smiled slightly at the sight of her but then turned his back to her a
ROK-Chapter TwoChapter TwoThe next few days weren't very eventful. Kosta would wake up early morning and would exit his cave to do his daily scouting. Usually the forest and fields would have very little activity but occasionally Kosta would come across a lost cub or a pair of fighting animals and would resolve the problem. He didn't encounter the other feline at all during those days and surprisingly enough he secretly wished he could see her again. Kosta shook his head swiftly at the thought of her as he sat down on a fallen log. His eyes stared out blankly as he watched the sun rise. Pinks and reds tinted the clouds and stretched out across the sky slowly as the sun made its way over the distant mountain range. Kosta yawned sleepily and closed his eyes as he did so. As he opened his eyes he found himself staring into a pair of bright blue ones. Kosta nearly tumbled backwards, but caught himself before he could fall off.Shock left Kosta speechless as the emerald feline sat herself before him, win
